Please find for sale 5 fresh Dypsis Decaryi seeds, better known as the Triangle Palm. This superb palm is popular in the southern Med, Canaries and the Middle East but in the UK it makes for stunning palm for a sunny conservatory or other very bright indoor location. It can spend its summers outside on the patio.

Germination Guide

• Light scarify a part of the seed surface with a nail file or similar
• Soak the seeds for 2 days in warm water (best place is an airing cupboard or other similar hot place)
• Prepare individual 9cm pots with a 50/50 mix of regular compost and vermiculite or coarse sand
• Moisten the soil before lightly pressing one seed into each pot and 3cm into the soil
• Keep the pots in a shaded, warm spot - use a heat mat if possible
• Check the soil daily and add water as needed to keep it moist.
• The seeds should germinate within six to eight weeks.
• Remove pots from heat mat once sprouted
