Please find for sale 500+ fresh Trailing Lobelia seeds - Sapphire Blue.  Trailing lobelias give masses of lovely bright flowers all summer long for your hanging baskets, tubs or conservatories! I use them to cascade over the front of my planters, with upright annuals behind them.

Note: The (very small) seeds are mixed with a little silver sand to help you get them out of the packet and to give you something to pinch as you sow them.

Germination Guide 

  • Sow indoors from January to April
  • Scatter  thinly, in trays of moist compost
  • Gently tamp the seeds to ensure good contact with the surface
  • Do not cover, as lobelia needs light to germinate. 
  • Keep compost damp - ideally use a mister to keep surface damp
  • Keep at 15-20°C
  • Seedlings should appear within 7-14 days.
  • Thin seedlings out to 2.5cm apart. 
  • Slowly harden off
  • Plant out from late May after the last frost
