Please find for sale 100+  Tomato "Moneymaker" seeds. This was my grandfather's favorite tomato - and probably mine as well. Not so much for the taste (although it is good - a classic, traditional flavor with a mild sweetness and a hint of tangy acidity) but more because it never seems to let you down regardless of the season's weather. I grow this variety outdoors here in the South up against a sunny wall but can also be grown under glass.

Germination Guide

• Sow between end of January and start of April depending where you are and whether to be grown under glass or outdoors
• Prepare a light well draining compost mix  - ideally 50% sieved compost, 50% horticultural sand or vermiculite.
• Sow the seeds thinly and cover with about 5mm of the compost
• Ensure the compost is kept moist but not wet
• Keep at between 20-25c.
•  Seeds should germinate in 5-15 days
• Prick out and pot on as required
• "Better late than early" is the key to when to put outside!
