00+ organically grown Tobacco "Golden Virginia seeds - they are very small seeds but have high germination so more than you could possibly use unless you own a plantation in Virginia! 

These are as fresh as they are going to get - from my Sept harvest. I have done the hard work collecting, drying, sieving and preparing the seed.

Most people seem to think that you cannot grown tobacco in the UK - but this is nonsense! The plant is really easy to grow and looks very attractive with its pink flowers. Even though this summer here in the UK was rather cool and damp I had a huge crop! Presumably the nicotine in the sap acts as a natural deterrent to slugs, snails etc as nothing seems to eat the plants!

Growing Instructions

• Prepare a tray of good quality sieved compost mix - ideally a mix of  50% regular compost, 50% vermiculite (which I sell in the Accessories section of my eBay shop) 
• Ensure mix moist but not wet
• Sprinkle seeds over surface - do not cover as light required for germination
• Cover with plastic dome with air holes open or a plastic bag/clingfilm with holes
• Keep seedlings warm (18-22°C) and mist surface with water occasionally
• Seedlings appear after a 10-20 days
• Thin seedlings to the number of plants you want to plant
• Pot on to individual plants once large enough to handle but keep indoors/greenhouse
• Plant out in rows once risk of frost has passed  - likes a moist fertile soil.
• Harvest individual leaves when beginning to turn yellow
• Cure leaves by hanging them on a line in in a shed, outbuilding etc with the windows open
