Red clover is one of the most popular geen manures. Once established it is capable of rapid growth and provides excellent soil improvement.

Germination Guide

• Sow March to May or Late August to Late September
• Prepare and rake over the soil
• Red clover seeds can be sown on their own, but are often mixed with other green manure seeds
• Scatter seeds over prepared area
• Do not scatter too thinly as this will allow weeds to establish
• Lightly rake over
• Water in using a rose or spray
• If weather dry/warm may require additional watering
