Please find for sale 100+ Purple Coneflower (Echinacea Purpurea) seeds. Echinacea grow well in the home garden with the right conditions and are an important source of nectar for butterflies and many birds who flock to the plants to devour the seed. As a clump forming perennial, gardeners get value year after year.

Germination Guide 
  • Fill 9cm pots or similar with seed compost almost to the top. 
  • Take a small pinch of seeds and sprinkle them over the top of the compost.
  • Add a light covering of compost over the seeds.
  • Water the seeds carefully and cover the pot with the polythene bag.
  • Keep at circa 18-24c - ideally use a heat mat
  • Germination normally takes 10-15 days
  • After germination, remove the polythene bag.
  • Once established, harden off slowly in early spring
  • Protect from frosts
  • Plant out in a sunny spot in the garden after the risk of frost has passed
