Please find for sale 2500+ fresh Night Scented Stock seeds (Mathiola Bicornis).  Few things can match the head smell of Night Scented Stock (Maciejka) on balmy summer evenings - sow/plant the seeds near your doors, patio or wherever you will be sitting out in the evening.

Germination Guide 

  • Night-scented stock does not like root distrubance so best sown direct  

  • Can be sown early in the year, even before the frosts have passed or even in the Autumn on the south coast. Sowing at intervals from late winter to mid-summer will give you a succession of flowers throughout the season
  • Prepare the area by removing any weeds and raking it over, and sow the seed thinly, either scattering it across the patch or drawing wriggly lines in the soil with a stick and sowing the seed along those lines, for a  natural look. 
  • Rake again lightly and water carefully using a rose on your watering can. 
  • Depending on the time of year, germination will take between 10 days and three weeks. 
  • Thin seedlings out in stages to about 20cm apart. 
  • Stems of night-scented stock are up to 60cm tall and can fall over, so either support or grow other annuals around them for natural support.
