Nemesia Strumosa | Carnival Mix | 1000+ seeds | Sweet Scented

Please find for sale 1000+ fresh Nemesia Strumosa seeds "Carnival Mix". This mix produces compact plants with large flowers that are invaluable for bedding, containers and baskets flowering all summer long. With its sweet, rhubarb-like scent, Nemesia is a great option for hanging baskets near doorways. Technically Nemesia is a perennial and can be overwintered but most UK gardeners grow it as annual - with the key to success being light, free draining soil. I like to mix Nemesia with Night Scented Stock for an all day and evening scent.

Seed Germination

• Sow under cover in early spring  - ideal temperature around 15c
• Fill container (with drainage holes) with moist general purpose compost 
• Gently firm the compost 
• Sow the seeds on the surface 
• Lightly cover with sieved compost or vermiculite
• Loosely cover with clear bag or similar plastic cover
• Water from the bottom using another watertight tray - drain off any excess after 30 mins
• Keep at room temperature out of direct sun
• Remove cover once germinated to reduce risk of rot
• Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle and begin a liquid feed
• Plant out once risk of frost has passed
