Germination Guide

Grow as you would grow beetroot exept with larger spacing between plants.
Prepare fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny spot
Sow seeds directly or start indoors in modules from spring (April-June) about 1/4-1/2 inch deep, spacing rows 1-2 feet apart, and thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart for large roots, keeping soil consistently moist and weed-free for a large, cold-tolerant crop.
