Please find for sale 30 wooden dowels / plugs that have been impregnated with Lion's Mane (Hericium Erinaceus) mushroom spawn (mycelium).

Lion's Mane mushrooms have a mildly sweet, rich, and savory flavor with a meaty, stringy texture that's similar to lobster or crab. Because of this, they're often used as a substitute for seafood or as an accompaniment. They are also highly prized for their health benefits.

Aside from logs, these mushrooms can be grown on all hardwoods and a variety of mediums. I have found that Lion's Mane mycelium is slower to colonise mediums than more aggressive mushrooms such as Oyster Mushrooms and Shiitake - this is why Lion's Mane mycelium, dowels etc are relatively more expensive.

Included for FREE is a small packet of wax granules which is used to seal the dowels into the logs.
