Seed Germination

• Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. 
• Do not cover seed, just gently tamp to get a cood contact with the soil as light is needed for germination. 
• Partially cover seeds with a sprinkling of sharp sand or fine vermiculite.
• Cover tray with clear cover but with some airholes
• Keep at around 20c in bright indirect light.
• Mist surface occasionally to ensure does not dry out
• Germination is naturally eratic - from a few few weeks to a few months
• Pot on once large enough to handle
• Harden off before planting out
