Seed Germination

• Keep seeds in a sealed bag in refrigerator until ready to sow
• Sow Jan-Mar in a coldframe or unheated greenhouse - seeds need cold stratification 
• Sow in trays of moist compost mix (ideally 50/50 compost and vermiculite)
• Lightly cover
• Germination can be erratic - 15 to 45 days depending on conditions 
• Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle
• Plant out in full-sun well drained position once risk of frost has passed
