Please find for sale 100+ viable Mixed Colours Heuchera seeds, commonly known as "Coral Bells". 

With their neat, low mounds of foliage in a mix of colours, Heucheras are perfect for borders and containers in partial shade. They are easy to grow, versatile and low maintenance, popular as cover and for filling in gaps between larger plants, providing colour virtually all year round.

Luckily Heucheras are pretty easy to grow from seed but they do need a short period of cold stratification for optimal germinartion rates.

Seed Germination

  • Mix the seeds into some damp soil or sand and put into a ziplock bag then place in the fidge for 1 - 2 weeks
  • After the cold period spread the seed mix on the surface of a tray of free draining moist compost.
  • Heuchera seeds need light to germinate, so press the seeds into the soil but do not cover them
  • Loosely cover the tray with clear plastic to help hold in moisture and warmth
  • Place the tray in a warm, bright location for germination
  • Lift the tray daily to mist down the surface of the soil
  • Once sprouts emerge, remove the plastic completely
  • Grow the seedlings in a bright, sunny window
  • Once there are several sets of true leaves, the plants can be hardened off for 7 - 10 days prior to planting out
