Germination Guide
Either:
Sow directly outside about a month before the last frost
Or Sow indoors in spring
Soak the seeds in water for 12 hours before sowing
Sow seed in pots of moist compost
Seeds needs light to germinate so gently press into the soil rather than bury and keep damp.
When sowing indoors germination rate can be improved by soaking the seeds for 12 hours before sowing.
It produces a large taproot that doesn’t like to be transplanted unless small - so repot to deep pots or plant out as soon as big enough to handle
Growing plants close together will encourage a straight root.
