Please find for sale 200+ Spinach "Giant Winter" seeds. This variety is more bolt-resistant than most Spinach cultivars. Despite its name, this Spinach can be grown all year round outdoors as well as indoors as a microgreen.  As is well known, Spinach is incredibly nutrictious due to its rich content of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which support bone health (Vitamin K), eye health (lutein and zeaxanthin), blood pressure (nitrates), and immune function (Vitamins A and C). It also aids in digestion (fiber), iron absorption (Vitamin C), and the production of collagen for skin (Vitamin C). We use it in many ways - raw in salads, on pizzas and thrown into curries and stews at the last minute! Depending on where you live, in winter spinach is best given some protection such as in poly tunnels at least until it is established.

Germination and Planting Guide

Sow indoors indoors year-round in a warm, sunny location, greenhouses, polytunnel, or south-facing window boxes.
Sow outdoor either from March to April or September to November

Indoor Sowing:

Use seed trays, pots, or deep containers filled with moist well-draining, rich compost.
Sow seeds at a depth of about 1cm deep
Lightly cover
Keep at 10-25°C 
Keep compost moist but do not over water
Germination takes 7-14 days depending on temperature and conditions
Transplant when seedlings about 7-9cms into larger pots or their final growing location.
Take care to minimise root disturance when transplanting

Outdoor Sowing:

Select a sunny site with fertile, well-drained soil. 
Add well-rotted manure as required
Sow seeds directly into the soil in rows, planting them approx 1cm) deep. 
Space rows 30cms apart.
Water during dry spells
Once about 7-10cm tall thin to about 15cm apart
