Please find for sale 20+ Gloriosa Superba seeds, commonly known as Fire Lily or Flame Lily.

This showy perennial climber lives up to its name because its flower shape resembles a blazing crown. The fiery red petals resemble dancing flames and end in a yellow throat. The flowering period of the splendour lily lasts throughout the growing season. Flame Lilies love heat and sun - and although the rhizomes are very cold tolerant, to maximise the flowering season in the UK they are best grown in conservatories and greenhouses where it will scramble up a support to about 1m.

Germination Guide
Sow in UK from late winter to mid-spring
Soak seeds in water for 24 hours
Use seed trays of moist well-draining compost mix
Sow seeds about 2cm deep and cover
Losely cover tray with plastic bag
Keep at 20-25c - use a heat mat if possible to maintain constant temperature
Germination usually takes 3-6 weeks depending on conditions
As seedlings develop, remove the bag
Best to water from the bottom then drain away any excess water
Pot on to individual pots once large enough to handle
