Cranberries are straightforward to grow and produce big crops of berries - if you give them the right conditions.

In their native environment the thrive in poor quality boggy acidic soils but in full sun - I recreated this myself by finding a low lying spot and digging in a bag or ericaceous compost - seems to have worked fine and my cranberry patch even came through the hot drought of summer 2022 without looking too stressed.
