This beautiful tree is perhaps best known for its use in wedding bouquets, table decorations etc, however I fell in love with this tree when I spotted a 8 foot specimen is a friends garden. The beauty of its shiny bark, the smell of the leaves and the rustling noise in gentle breezes is pretty hard to beat. When he moved house, we dug it out and moved it!

Gunnii is very flexible - can be trained as a bush or a standard. We are on the south coast but elsewhere in UK some winter protection may well be required. I have found that for the first few years it is best to keep it in pots and then overwinter it in a shed or greenhouse and you need to ensure it does not dry out over this period.
