Please find for sale 20+ Cape Honeysuckle seeds [Tecoma Capensis]  - a mix of the red, yellow and orange cultivars. Cape Honeysucke is a vigorous and extremely fast growing South African producing masses of stunning flowers.

Traditionally regarded as a greenhouse plant such is its growth rate in a single season, it is increasingly commonly being used by parks and gardens in the UK as part of their annual summer bedding programmes. It will in fact survive winters in much of southern England and inner city locations without much difficulty. Grow on hot south facing wall with moist and fertile soil conditions. Alternatively in colder parts, root cuttings and over winter them so you can get off to a fast start the next spring!

Seed Germination

Soak seeds in tap water for 24 hours
Prepare a well draining sandy compost mix - ideally 50% sieved compost and 50% horticultural sand
Ensure compost mix is damp but not wet
Place compost mix in a seed tray 
Sow seeds individually, gently pressing them into the compost surface to ensure good contact
Cover seeds with a fine layer of the sand and sieved compost mix
Keep in a warm, light place at circa 20c-25c but out of direct sunlight
Ensure compost mix does not dry out
Seedlings should appear in 3-6 weeks depending on conditions
Pot on as required
