Please find for sale 100+ fresh Kochia Trichophylla seeds, also known as the Burning Bush - a lovely ornamental annual plant with beautiful fine, lush green foliage that turns dark crimson to blood-red in the autumn.

This quick growing plant forms rounded pyramid of dense fine leaves  - bright green to start with, but turning brilliant red in the autumn. This plant is massively popular in Japan where is is grown in large swathes in parks.

It is also tolerant of virtually all soils, and can also be grown in containers.

Sowing Guide

• Sow in late winter/early spring
• Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before sowing
• Sow on the surface of trays of moist compost mix
• Do not cover the seed with compost as light is required for germination, just lightly tamp the seeds to achieve a good contact.
• Keep in a bright spot out of direct sunlight
• Maintain temperature of circa 17-22c
• Germination takes 7-20 days
• Transplant outside once all risk of frost passed.
