Please find for sale 300+ fresh Plantago Major seeds, better known as Broadleaf Plantain. Plantain leaves are ever popular as Tortoise food as they are very easy to grow and have a good balance of nutrients. Plantain leaves have also been used for generations for medicinal purposes, either eaten or seeped in green teas.

Germination Guide

• To speed germination, mix seeds with a little damp compost, seal in a ziplock back and place in fridge for 10 days
• After this period, spread seeds on a tray of moist compost
• Sprinkle a very light covering of sieved compost over the seeds so as not completely covered
• Place in bright warm spot (room temperature) but out of direct sunlight
• Keep moist, avoid drying out or waterlogging the growing mix.
• Germination generally occurs in around 7-10 days
• Prick out and pot on once large enough to handle
