Blueberry | 100+ fresh seeds | Heavy Cropper | Fully Hardy
Please find for sale 100+ fresh Blueberry seeds (Vaccinium Myrtillus). To avoid the air miles, I have been growing these for a number of years in pots on my patio with great results - the only problem is stopping my chickens, wife, kids etc eating all the berries before I get any for my yoghurt!
Blueberries are delicious and very nutritious, but they also attractive shrubs with delicate white flowers in spring and deep red autumnal leaf colours. Blueberry bushes are easy to grow and hassle free - the only rule is to grow them is ericaceous compost as they are acid loving plants.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders received before 8pm (Mon-Fri) will be dispatched same day

Sowing Guide
Native to cold parts, Blueberry seeds require a period of cold stratification for optimal germination - this is natures way of stopping seeds germinating at the wrong time of year, eg the autumn and being killed by frost/snow before can get established. Thanks to fridges we can "trick" such seeds into thinking that winter has passed and now its time to wake up!
- If buying in the Autumn, place the seeds in a small ziplock bag along with some slightly damp potting compost and place in the fridge for at least 2 months, or longer until sowing time of around February. If buying seeds in Spring, you will need to keep them chilled in the fridge (or just place in a pot in a cold part of garden and let nature take its course).
- Prepare pots or seed trays of a well-draining compost mix - ideally 50/50 compost and vermiculite mix
- Sow evenly spaced on surface. Press gently to surface but do not cover.
- Keep at 16-20c
- Regularly mist surface with water
- Cover seed tray with plastic dome (vents open) or a clear bag with air holes cut.
- Ensure compost kept moist but not wet - best to water from the bottom.
- Seedling should start appearing from 4-6 weeks but is naturally eratic
- Pot on once have several sets of true leaves using ericaceous compost
