Please find for sale 4 fresh Acanthus Mollis seeds commonly known as "Bears' Breeches". These are relatively expensive seeds - but will only cost you once as it will spread readily and give pleasure every year.
This stunning perennial adds an structural flare to any garden. Large, glossy dark green leaves form impressive clumps, from which tall flowerspikes grow in late spring to early summer. Each one of these is covered in white flowers, each with a purple ‘hood’, creating a dramatic two-tone effect.
Although it will tolerate full sun, Acanthus Mollis prefers dappled shade. Best planted in groups under trees and given room to spread. It is pollinated by bees and is magnet for them!

Germination Guide
- Sow at any time of the year except Summer.
- Sow 5-9mm deep in a moist, free-draining seed compost
- Keep at 15 to 18C in a propagator or sealed in a polythene bag with a couple of air holes.
- Germination takes 3-4 weeks.
- Increase ventilation after germination
- Keep at 17-20C
- Do not over water as this encourages rot
- Pot on once large enough to handle
